Alliance Interactive, a Washington web design agency, was awarded Platinum from AVA Digital Awards for their website design for Pact.org, Alliance received this award for Pact in the nonprofit website design category.
The AVA Digital Awards is an international competition that awards industry professionals for their creativity and success behind the strategy, planning, concept and design of digital communications. The program is open to any business or individual that is involved in the production of digital media. Categories for the competition range from website design, digital marketing, video production and social media campaign strategy. The awards program was developed to pay tribute to the evolution of digital arts throughout the years and the work that goes into executing a successful digital concept.
Pact, a nonprofit organization founded in 1971 and based in Washington D.C, came to Alliance to develop a website and branding strategy that would drive more awareness for donors, supports and media. Pact works with over 30 countries around the world to provide disaster relief and support to the poor.
Alliance created a stunning new website for Pact that was able to increase new visitor traffic by over 27% by creating a new brand strategy that focused on community impact, helping to drive more donations and promote involvement with their cause.
The project also included search engine optimization enhancements and integration with an easy to use content management system to give more flexibility in content presentation.
Alliance worked with Pact to develop new ways to engage visitors and donors- the Promise Wall was created to share what a promise means to you. The page aggregates social media posts on a specific hashtag – while allowing Pact administrators to monitor and easily manage those posts.
The tool also allows Pact to reuse and rebrand the tool for other hashtags for fundraising or social awareness events.
Alliance was able to deliver an engaging website experience for Pact through a unique brand identity and strategic content marketing strategy. By allowing visitors to gain a better understanding of the organizations impact through visual media, Pact was able to successfully connect with more visitors online.
